Yearly the Johnson family goes to Pinedale Wyoming to Fremont Lake. We spend a few days up there enjoying the outdoors and the freezing cold lake. Since we have been in Ky we have missed 2 of the last 4 years, well I have, Nate wasn't able to make this trip either. I was close to not making it as well. Nate had been back in KY for his externship for about 3 weeks at this point and I was pretty close to my wits end. Luckily I had some help and enjoyed the trip.
The boat- what fun is a lake without a boat?
Tried to get Sage on the ski trainer, that worked out well and Paisley took a little snooze.
This is what the boat is like with just 3 moms, 2 grandparents and 8 kids, full and crazy and We are missing 10 other people.

Last year I posted about the floatie that some adults couldn't get up on. I decided I would show them up and get on it by myself. I was totally unsuccessful and I would share the picture, however its crappy quality and someone, ehhh, Abby, got a little fresh with me. I was wrong and it really is harder than it looked.
Of course we had to roast marshmallows, this was Sage's first experience doing so and he turned into quite the pro. Resting his bare feet near the (almost burned out) flames, burning his mallow, letting it sit on the wood and acquire ash from the fire...
And still enjoying the taste of sugar, nothing like it.
